Games are "on-the- fly", thats to say what happens
on the screen is live - dependent on your interaction.
Monitors come in all flavors, factors for gaming
require good response times, refresh rates etc.
In very simple terms that is how good the monitor
is at pixel rendition, switching colors etc
Pick the wrong monitor for gaming you'll get
smearing, poor rendition etc etc.

Well it appears to depend if you want to play the game in widescreen,
some do, others can be forced and some can't,

Otherwise you simply get the same display on a widescreen as non wide.

As tesco.net get a copy of Custom PC Issue 039 Dec 2006 for the extreme
widescreen gaming article, www.custompc.co.uk and the 2nd article force
troublesome games to run at ws resolutions. Mentioned utilities and web
sites.

Sounds interesting 2560 x 1600 on 30 inch widescreen.

Then again if you havent checked any of the gaming sites for games you
have or plan to buy, or any of the many gaming forums, what's an answer
