I downloaded a vid but it's not in the format I'm used to. The files
include .vob, .ifo and .bup. I usually use Nero but I can't seem to
figure this out. ANy help would be appreciated.

Those are DVD movie files. Nero - DVD - Burn video DVD files.

You should be able to open the Vobs with VLC (Video LAN Client) which is
freeware.

In Nero, select "DVD-Video". Dump all the files into the VIDEO_TS folder and
burn away. Don't worry about the AUDIO_TS folder being empty.
