For some reason Mailwasher has started saying 'The computer currently has no
connection and Mailwasher Free is unable to create one'

I have Windows XP and have been using Mailwasher Free for the past 4 years.

The weekend just gone my son had access to my computer - Is it possible he
could have downloaded a prog that has messed up my settings?

Thanks

Bob

I use the pro version myself.
In the free version can you look in Tools - Options - Connections - and see
if the appropriate internet connection is selected for checking mail?

I have had exactly the same problem for the last 4 days. My Mailwasher
doesn't have a Connections option or any means to set up a connection,
as far as I can see.

DUH

I have just found the answer on the Mailwasher FAQ page
www.mailwasher.net
http://www.mailwasher.net/faq.php#_Q._connect_problems

Go to Internet Options and make sure "Always dial my default
connection" is checked. I did this and now it works as before.
