Ok, I got the certification. Now where are the jobs? I
don't get it! Why is IT hit so hard? You would think that companies are DEPENDANT on their computers in this day and age. Did everyone decide to go back to using typewriters and file cabinets?? Then who in the world is running all of IT? Because NO ONE IS HIRING! Emil |

Because NO ONE IS HIRING! the senior people in this group have been saying this for some time now....the newbies will have a VERY hard time finding work if they find any at all! It's really lousy out there.....go study how to be a nurse - those jobs ARE in demand and will be for many years to come. People are living longer, older people mean more health care needs for society...you do the math! pheonix1t |

Five ways to getting a job in IT: 1) An IT Education 2) IT Experience 3) IT Certification(s) 4) Know someone on the inside 5) Have a terrific personality The market is saturated with people who have more than one item from the list above. If all you have is one item from this list, either get more items from the list, or expect to rely on luck in getting a job. -- Politician Spock MCSA, CCEA, MCNGP #15 The MCNGP Team - We're here to help This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties, and confers no rights.
