I can send faxes just fine under Windows XP. My question is about receiving
them. When do
I choose 'Receive a Fax Now' from the File menu of the Fax Console? Do I
choose it before the
phone rings when I know the next phone call will be a fax or do I choose it
after the phone rings? Or does it matter at all when I do it?

It will recieve it automatically when it answers and gets a handshake from
the remote fax machine.
