If it's only the capture side of things, you could try using MS Movie
Maker just to do the digital "capture" (really just a file transfer if
you're using MiniDV) and then use your Pinnacle product. If it's analog
video you're capturing, I use my MiniDV camera's pass through function
to capture the video, either straight to the hard drive or record it on
MiniDV tape. You may have that as an option.
