hi,

i have 2 laptops, one requires
200-pin SODIMM, PC2700 / 333 MHz,
the other laptop requires
DDR2 200-pin SODIMM, PC2-5300 / 667 MHz.

Are these memory sticks interchangable? Can i put the 333 MHz memory
in the laptop that 'requires' the 667 MHz memory, without damaging the
laptops?

You won't damage it-- but all the memory will run at the slower speed at a
degraded level from what the 667 memory would run. That being said, any
increase in memory will give you a performance bump.

One of these is DDR the other is DDR2. They may not be interchangeble
and may not even fit into the same sockets.

Check with www.crucial.com before risking your hardware.
