Have you had your glasses checked lately?

When I was a child, I remember my Mom telling me, "Son, when you grow
up, you can marry any girl you please." When I became a young man, I
learned the sad fact was that I could not please any of them.

Well, since you're posting through Google Groups, I can't tell how you
connect to the Internet. So I"m going offer a guess. See, a lot of the
dial-up providers have this accelerator crap that they say makes the
Internet 'faster'. It doesn't. It actually reduces the quality of the
pictures to do it's dirty work. See, pictures take a lot of time to
download. So these accelerators only send /part/ of the picture, making it
quite lousy. I've not used one for a long while, so I don't remember all the
details, but there are settings in there for how much "speed up" you want.

So if you are connected to the Internet with Earthlink, PeoplePC, or any of
the other ISPs who use that accelerator software, you might try turning it
off, or changing the settings.

Is it a flat screen? Have you played with the DPI settings lately. This can effect image quality.

Here is some more info:

Your resolution may be too low... Right click on your desktop, click Properties, and go to the Settings tab. Change your screen resolution. If you have an LCD screen, most of these screens are better at their highest tolerable setting. Usually at 1024x768 Pixels. 800x600 are a minimum, but note that many images will be blurry.

A more simpler explanation may be your internet browser itself. Netscape and Internet Explorer render images differently. What I would recommend to test this is to download Netscape Navigator (www.netscape.com) or if you're using that already, check out Internet Explorer (www.microsoft.com) and download the latest version.

We don't know if the OP has a small, old monitor that may work best at
800x600.

No, you want a modern browser, such as Firefox, SeaMonkey, or Opera (as
a few examples).

The latest IE 6 is six years old. The IE 7 is a beta - and we all know
what 'beta' means, don't we? Others have said IE 7 should only be used
by power users, web developers, and others who don't mind hosing up
their computers.

Your web site is very slow. And I found this:

<quote>
SupportOnDemand costs only $19 per issue, and you'll receive your
response via email within 24 to 48 hours. Some responses can be sent
the same day!!!

$19? <hoot!> 24 to 48 hours? Usenet is much faster, and free. Seems
like you just spammed this group looking for business. Looks like you've
just discovered Usenet yourself - today.

If you don't have anything better to do than to knock other people's
expertise, then maybe it would be best that you don't look into the
newsgroup. We are all adults and these people are asking for an opinion.
And yes, just because of comments (like you have made) I think it was a
shameless plug to direct someone where their intelligence is not mocked.
Like my website. You're directing everyone on to Microsoft or FireFox
(which I use and I like, by the way). Everyone is not technically inclined
and they don't appreciate being talked to like they're scum. If you don't
agree with what I say, fine. You disagree. But your advice is based on
your expertise, and so is mine.

Have a nice day and try being civil for a change.

Welcome to Usenet. It's a free planet, isn't it? Usenet is for
discussion.

A shameless plug which neglected to mention that your 'support' costs
$19. Are you shamed that I caught you out, soliciting money?

Please refer to my post and tell me where I inferred "scum." I gave the
OP a recommendation to update his old browser to a modern one.

Except my expertise is free!

Heh, I thought I was very civil...

Please read this page before replying. Thanks for your consideration.
