Lost my Firefox settings

I opened Firefox this evening and found that I've lost my history, bookmarks
and other settings.

I know I was messing yesterday with some startup programs in Msconfig, but I
don't think any of them had anything to do with Firefox. Is there any other
obvious reason for this and any possible solutions?

Try looking here: C:\Documents and Settings\*USER*\Application
Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\
