Can anyone help with deleting the entries in the start-run drop down box
where you can bring up, for example, MSCONFIG, or REGEDIT.

Windows XP

Hi

Right click Start, Properties (Start Menu tab) Customize (Advanced tab)
Clear List button.

*If you have the Classic Start Menu:

Right click Start, Properties (Start Menu tab) Customize, Clear button

Either way this action will also clear any list of recently used
documents/web pages visted too.
