Hi,
Anybody managed to get some compensation e.g. free test from Prometric when they've failed to run a test?? I tried to sit 70-216 last week, but due to tech. problems it failed to start. It was rescheduled for the next day, but I had to take a further days unpaid leave to sit it. I tried to email them, but they don't seem interested. With their restrictive cancellation policy it seems a bit unfair IMHO that if they screw up, there's no comeback on them. Interested to know if anybody else has had any luck before I go back to them Thanks, Monty --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free. Checked by AVG anti-virus system (http://www.grisoft.com). Version: 6.0.522 / Virus Database: 320 - Release Date: 29/09/2003 Monty Burns |

Serves to keep them on their toes. BUT - It was up to you to reschedule a time that was convenient and you didn't have to pick the next day. They should not have offered you the next day as the only choice; it is their fault and they are obligated to a time that suits both of you. However, if the only choice was for the next day, they are in the wrong, even under their own terms and conditions and policies. You accepted their exam terms and conditions, which entitles them to do this under certain circumstances. Therefore, it would be argued that no other compensation would be necessary. I would still pursue some form of compensation, like a voucher. Don't quit. Marko |

Hi
They have done this to me too as their main server had a hardware failure. They will not reply to your emails. Telephone calls are useless as they insist that you had a chance to do the test later. A few years ago prometric delayed sending the result of my Novell test to Novell and my certificate was delayed. They of their own accord sent me a compensation voucher for a free test. But now they have too much business to care about individuals.....try testing with VUE. >-----Original Message----- > >>-----Original Message----- >>Hi, >> >>Anybody managed to get some compensation e.g. free test >from Prometric when >>they've failed to run a test?? I had have the same problem with VUE.
And it ended with NO COMPENSATION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So I did last 2 exams at Prometric. It's much more better! Let's look at it! There was attached scanned "VUE Testing Center Log Sheet". I send it to all customer satisfaction emails of VUE, Prometric and M$ for information. No reply from VUE, M$ wrote me that they cannot do anything and Prometric invited me to their testing center. Murphy ################################################ OK. Somebody from VUE called me yesterday. She said I was working on the test (just Qs, w/o adjustments and so on) 144 minutes. I came to the testing room, wrote down the time (9:40) and wait till woman from S-Comp prepare the test. Then I answered Qs as how long I work with W2k. After I began the test +/- 9:55. After some time the test showed window "Timeout for Qs" and immediately after "Timeout for comments". I was surprised gaped at monitor for some while. Then I asked miss Hajkova for assistance. She went to testing room, looked at monitor returned to reception and said she could not do anything. So I wrote time (11:55). So from my entering the testing room to the end it was 135 minutes & about 20 or 30 minutes I lost with stupid questions like as I used W2k beta and at the end. How could You tell me I had enough time? Look at Vue.jpg attachment and write me. Do You trust Your certified partner S-Comp? So You have to accept my claims! Guys,
Thanks for comments. I re-emailed them and refused to accept their position and they have credited a free future test for me. That's all I was looking for. Well done, Monty. Marko |
