I'm in the process of starting afresh on a new hard disk which I'm going to
partition rather differently to the old one to accomodate a HyperOS setup.
I imaged the C drive onto a spare disk then removed the original disk and
set it to one side for sake-keeping in case the new disk didn't work out.
Well I created a smaller partition on the new disk, restored successfully
using the TrueImage boot disk and rebooted. Windows appeared but after
logging in it pauses for a bit then gives me the login again. Same thing in
Safe mode.
Had a hunch that it might play along if I put the network connection back in
but I got an error message about Services.exe - didn't note it down exactly,
something about not being able to find the A drive of all things.
I'm back on my original disk now. Any ideas on how I can restore this image
successfully. If I can't then I'm back to reinstalling Windows from scratch
again
