Ok heres the script ( im tearing my hair out!!)

A mate wanted to connect to XBOX live but he has a USB ADSL modem i said no
worries use ICS as he also has an ethernet on board his pc

However his OEM Dell windows XP didnt have option in network settings for
ICS ?? (my retail XP home did!) anyway i tried a spare XP pro i have after
install i noticed that under advanced network settings its still just the XP
firewall stuff no settings to turn on ICS!

ANY IDEAS!?!?!?

Forget about all that ICS crap and get an inexpensive router.

Its not for me and believe me im close to buying him a router myself!

Go to start > connect to > show all connections

right click on the ADSL connection icon under dial-up

select properties

click on the advanced tab

put a tick in the internet connection sharing box
