Default Technical Difficulties with Exam 071-297

I've heard a few cases of beta exam 071-297 crashing. I was scheduled to
take it Saturday and got an email advising me to reschedule as the exam
wasn't ready. I rescheduled for today, showed up, and made it to question 3
in about 20 minutes (including a lot of reading). It then said I was out of
time and ended the entire exam. Subsequent efforts to complete it (after my
proctor called Prometric support, rebooted, and downloaded some patches)
yielded worse.

I realize this is a beta exam, but I always thought the content was beta,
not the test engine. Nonetheless I would like to take this exam but have no
time before it's scheduled ending. From the proctor's discussion with
Prometric it seems this is happening a lot.

From the chugging of the hard drive I believe this must really pound the
machine. Any similar experiences? Is Microsoft considering extending the
beta period (or perhaps have a beta 2 *LOL*)?

What time did you have your exam? I had an exam scheduled for 10:00am EST
today and it was delayed 45 mins because "the system was down".
