Win98 hangs on startup. Trying to reinstall from harddrive. Get
following error Generic install error Add reg= Processing error
OX197 Any help greatly needed.

run memtest86

Open the case and remove and reseat the memory modules. If this
doesn't help, try running setup with the "/ic" switch.

setup /ic
