Hello,
I would like to do the MCP exam in VB.NET. I already have some experience in VB.NET and besides that I am reading a book by Mike Gunderloy. My question now is what knowledge should I have to do the MCP only. The book I bought is basically for MSCS/MCAD. The title of the book is: MCAD/MCSD Developing and Implementing Web Applications with VB.NET and VS.NET Thanks for any suggestions. SK SK |

Hi SK,
The MCAD and MCSD certifications are made up of 3 and 5 individual exams, respectively. Among those exams is the one you're considering. The knowledge you need for the one exam is the same as what you would need on that particular topic for MCAD or MCSD. -- Cindy Winegarden MCSD, Microsoft Visual Foxpro MVP www.cindywinegarden.com Blog: http://spaces.msn.com/members/cindywinegarden "SK" <> wrote in message news:0bb901c537af$8081ec90$... > Hello, > > I would like to do the MCP exam in VB.NET. Microsoft Skills Assessments are free and Important to you. VERY IMPORTANT: Industry use these assessments to measure your skill sets, so completing them successfully is in your best interest. An excellent compliment to your training is to use the free Microsoft Skills Assessments at http://www.microsoft.com/learning/as...nt/default.asp These assessments are like mini certification tests. You can take as many assessments as you need or want to and there is no cost. If you need help, you can also get excellent free detailed Q&A support for skills assessments at http://disnetinc.com/ Why look for training and testing any where else? Learn from the people who built the products, learn from Microsoft. I recommend the following microsoft press books for training at http://www.microsoft.com/learning/books/product.asp View all Microsoft Certifications at http://www.microsoft.com/learning/mc...ifications.asp FYI-Geek101 >-----Original Message----- >Hello, > > I would like to do the MCP exam in VB.NET.
