Default Job-openings with Microsoft MCSD Certification

Once you get the MCSD,which Job-opportunities can you get,
if this is the only qualification you have?
What is the lower( or so) salary you can expect to get
with this certification?
Is it wort spending 4.000 pounds to get this certification?
(in England)
If someone shou8ld know something, since he is in this
sector, please spend some seconds to answer.
Thanks for your help in advance.
Cris.

Dude, you don't have to spend 4,000 pounds to get this
certification (MCSD.NET). Go to http://www.testking.com
and and purchase the Question and Answers, Study Guide and
online testing feature. Each test will cost you about
$100 American if you get all three facets of them.

Here is what I do. I buy the Q/A - Study Guide and work
through each example by making sure I understand the
concept that the question is presenting, then I lookup as
many things about that concept as possible in the online
documentation ... as well as in the study guide.

Then, when I finish with the Q/A and study guide I take
the two online tests, timed and untimed. By the time I'm
finished (takes about a month for each test to do it
right). I walk into the exam center and am out in about
30 minutes.

Total cost including taking the test is roughly $225 per
exam.

As for how these exams help your Job Opportunities, they
help you get in the door. Simply having a certification
does not prove you really know the tool. It shows you
know how to take tests, most employers know this. But it
certainly helps getting you in front of a human where you
can really "show your stuff".
