I am using this one as well, and I have the exam today.
As far as I know this guide covers most of material. Personally I am using any exam guide + transcender, and I pass the first time. Thanks.
I have passed with a pretty good score. I had an impression that half of the questions were about web services, so it seems to be the most important topic. You need to have a good understating of ADO.NET as well. Regarding .NET Remoting (a "dead technology"), windows services, and serviced componets, there were some questions about it, but much less. There were also some security issues here and there, so this topic is also important. Transcender is a test simulation program with explanations to each question. They offer three tests each 50 questions: http://www.transcender.com. I have found an ad in MCP Magazine. It is often recommended by other newsgroup participants. Regarding learning source I have forgotten about the most important one: MSDN Library. I am using it a lot, both the one on my hard-drive and the on-line version: http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp Cheers, Leszek <> wrote in message news:083301c52f1e$a5cdf5f0$... > Good luck and share your experience. > What is transcender? > thanks. Congratulations Leszek for passing the exam and thanks
for sharing other useful information. What do you think of Exam Cram - 70-320 book from exam perspective? Is this book really enought to pass this exam? How important it is to go thru 3rd party simulation exams? Please share your thoughts? thanks. shail |

IMHO going through simulation exams is even more important than any books:
1. Thoroughly study from the test simulations (with detailed explanations) 2. Reference MSDN (the test simulations usually have links to MSDN on-line) 3. Read some books when you tired of staring at the monitor ( Personally I found the Kalani's book pretty useful as a reference. It requires lots of practice to get through all information. I can't imagine someone without real-work experience passed the exam using only this book. It also does not cover all topics, especially regarding security, but who wants to have 100%? Recently I have attended to a Microsoft seminar/training.
A lecturer said: ".NET remoting will be replaced by Indigo soon" He also adviced not to use the technology for new projects and said it would be depreciated in the future versions of .NET. That's what I got from a Microsoft representative, so for the exam I did not pay much attention to the .NET remoting, just a required minimum.
