Hello,
Can someone suggest a "FREE" online site where I can get some questions and explanations for the 70-229 exam. I have failed this exam twice already, even though I have mastered everything in the Microsoft Press book for the exam. I have encountered quite a few things that are not covered in the book, such as determining when to use stored procedures, user-defined functions, or views. There were many questions like this that were not covered in the book. Can someone recommend me a reliable source. Thank you. Session Session |

In any case, Wiley are an excellent publisher as well, but it makes sense on their part to continue to use the Wrox 'brand' name. A significant number Wrox titles have been taken over by Apress (a subsidiary of Springer-Verlag) but they actually replace the cover - Wiley may have rights to the Wrox brand. > >Kline Sphere (Chalk) MCNGP #3 UAError |

And I doubt that a reader who "gets" Vieira's book, is such a novice that he/she is just venting frustation because of the challenge that its technical content presents. But YMMV... UAError |

Hello Session
My experience is exactly like you. I tried, all the books, that many have suggested you in this newsgroup, but even though, it is still going bad. The reason is simple, I don't know about you, but I am MCAD, with 70-316, 70-315, 70-320. All these exams are having 56 - 58 questions and 2 hrs time. Now then calculation is this, if you have 100 q's the you can do 20 wrong, but if you have only 5 q's then in that case it is very, very difficult to do only 1 wrong. And that is what happening, I am having good skill on SQL Server 2000, but still the questions are very, very tricky, specially, very descriptive, which make you very confuse when you reach the last lines of the question, you will forget, lost what you have read at the top of the question. For first MCAD exams, questions are like maths, means, 2 + 2 = 4, so you are able to score, but in descriptive, it is difficult, specially MS select the question, and then re-create that question to make you confuse, and that is what it is happening, Anyway, I wish you best luck. You have already spend, $250. and I understand its value.
