I've just read through Ch 17 (Local servers) of Laceys' Exam Cram. P378 has
a multi select question, including the following: "A method parameter decorated with the [in] attribute indicates that client must allocate memory for the parameter and the server must free the memory." In the answer he marks this as true. I thought it was false, the client also frees the memory. If I'm right, is there a list of errata for this book. This question has spooked me a bit. cheers Martin Knott |

You are certainly correct, it's a typeo.
If I'm not mistaken, the explanation he actually gives confirms this and contradicts his [incorrect] answer!
