Hi,
I am now ready to take my 1st exam (70-306) towards MCSD. However, it will be sometime before I have completed the other exams (roughly 12 months) and I have a couple of questions: (1) Is there a time limit in which I must takes these exams? (2) Will I have to retake 70-306 once release 2 of .NET is out later this year? Thanks, Pazza. Pazza |

Hello,
There is no time limit to take all the exams. However, exams do get retired. Microsoft posts which exams get retired in June. No one really knows if will have to retake the exam when .NET is released again. Microsft will make that decision. I passed this exam in November and will try to get my MCAD before June just to make sure the exams don't get retired. Hope this helps! Even though exam retirements are announced in June, you have 12 months after the announcement before the exam becomes unavailable. -- Cindy Winegarden MCSD, Microsoft Visual FoxPro MVP www.cindywinegarden.com Cindy Winegarden |

Also, outside the context of the main question, do they allow us to use
paper to 'work out' things if necessary ? ( of course we would leave the 'worksheet' behind). Nice Chap |

For every exam I've taken there has been blank paper and pencils available. -- Cindy Winegarden MCSD, Microsoft Visual FoxPro MVP www.cindywinegarden.com Cindy Winegarden |
