Hi,
I am hoping that some of you will be willing to look at my portfolio I
posted online. I am about to query some magazines to do photo essays and
want to give them access to my work.

In particularly, I would like to weed out about 3-6 photo's. I am open to
feedback (constructive critisism is welcome). Which picks help tell the
stories; which can go? Should I rearrange the order?

Which photo's lack impact? Which ones are must keeps?

Keep in mind the site is still under development so some of the links or
pages may be missing. Let me know if you find any.

Few things:

1. make logo clickable (linked to home URL)

2. remove:

#5 in Mushing series

#5 in Protest series

those are not your strongest shots composition-wise.

Protest: 1 & 6
Mushing: 4
Feature: 2, 3 & 4

I rarely comment on specific photos, simply because everyone's
tastes are different and I can't see the comments as having much
significance.

However, your website is different. Just for starters, few
others who look at it will have a clue to the insight that you
and I can share. I used to mush dogs, decades ago. I've driven
down to Haines and taken the ferry to Juneau. I've known that
Murkowski was a fool for 30 years.

I *really* enjoyed looking at your images. I have no idea what
others see, but *you* know what I'm seeing in them...

Vick??? You ever live anywhere near Fairbanks? Salcha?

Yeah, I lived in Fairbanks for 4 year (2000-2004).
You may have heard of me on the news a couple summers ago. I swam the Lynn
Canal to protest the Juneau Road

For a short time I had some neighbors named Vick, but it was in
about 1980.

I missed that. But I really do appreciate your effort!

Note, however, that I'm not entirely opposed to the idea of
moving the legislature out of Juneau! Nope, not at all... I
think we should rotate the legislative sessions each year to
different places. The only rule should be that it can't be
within 100 miles a "connected road system". We could start with
Kaktovik or Point Lay, for example...

We wouldn't need to vote for shorter sessions then either...

I shot a bunch more this fall, and may some day get around to
