I have been collection K10D images (these aren't mine). You can view what I
have come across at:

http://pcreviewonline.smugmug.com/gallery/1970427

The first two pages are from pre-production cameras. However, the ones on
pages 3 on are most from production cameras. There are a good number of high
ISO shots. It looks like it is going to do a very good job.

I haven't had a need yet to shoot at high ISO. But, I plan to as it is the
one reason I went from my Panasonic FZ30 to the K10D dSLR.

Why ?

Price (D80 is too high, you can get a 30D for less after rebate)
Noise (way too much at ISO 800/1600 on the D80, almos none at same ISO on
the D50)
Amp glow problem (this is a major problem see here if you dont know what it
is http://www.bythom.com/d80review.htm
http://forums.dpreview.com/forums/re...ssage=20970317 )
D80 Exposure problem (dealbreaker for many)
And the image quality is not there. A cheap Canon XT has a better IQ (even a
D50) IMHO.

If you have Nikon lenses, the D50 is simply the best deal you can buy right
now.

But aren't the 30's 8MP. Why would you want to spend $1000 on a year out of
date camera? Especially one that doesn't offer a whole lot of improvement of
the 20 it replaces. But, then Canon really hasn't released any thing lately
that is overly innovative. Just the same camera with a few minor changes and
a new name.

According to what I've read online, the Pentax 100d produced images
with a yellow cast when the subject was lit with Tungsten lighting, and
the camera's auto white balance was used. Does anyone know if this has
been addressed in the 10d?

Thanks,
Steve
