Since Canon doesn't specify at what point the A640 will benefit from a
faster card except for saying burst mode will benefit from a "fast"
card, I figured I'd ask here.

OK. What speed card will give me the best response/cost ratio? So
far I've used Class 2 (Panasonic) and the 45X Transcend (as they are
refered to by the companies), and while they've worked fine I'd love to
get some snappier response but don't want to spend for the top of the
line if it'll be only imperceivably slower with a mid range card.
