Default .net core requirements

In the 4 book set that is supposed to cover the core
exams (which of course I know it won't cover everything)
there are book titles required on Microsoft's website
that have the same name and picture as the books in the
books set I bought but they are a different length and it
says those are required too so I'm confused, do I need to
buy those if I have the book set or not?

Same books. The set is paperback, individual books are hardcover. Not sure
why the different page lengths, but the content is the same supposedly.

Oh thank you so much, I wonder why they are listed
separately on the Microsoft site?

Actually they are the 2nd edition to the same books thats
all. I purchased the 1st addition myself to prepare for
bootcamp only to be given the exact same books but they
were 2nd addition. Humor in in it was the instructor
was using the 1st addition as well so the page numbers
were always off like by 30 or so. In the 2nd addition
they took out a section on multimedia in the web book.
hopes this helps.
