You need to get your medications adjusted. Call a doctor, for god's
sake.

There are more often many officers who accomplish heroic acts every
single day of the year. They protect our homes, our schools and our way
of life. They are our first responders: saving lives, (even before the
fire dept) protecting property and enforcing the law. They are
specialists in emergency medicine, solving crimes, and preventing gang
violence. They are our friends and neighbors. And they do this with
VERY little support and with great criticism and personal liabilty.

Most officers do the best they can with what they know-- just like any
of us. If you had a bad experience(s) take a minute and think about
the officer when you had your experience... ... What do you think
he/she had to deal with that day before he ran into you... probably he
had to do his job, protecting people like you, who have a chip on their
shoulder about police.

Think about this, in their job they have to assume everyones a bad guy,
otherwise they are leaving themselves vulnerable so they may not always
be friendly.

I hardly think even a few instances of bad police officers give anyone
the right to label police officers. Lighten up.

Yeah, collective judgement is terrible.

Yeah, collective judgement is sensible.

Oh yea!! Your motto could be "live by the law of the jungle." Also try
not to get mugged, murdered or raped.

Honestly I never have. Yet I still pay their salaries.

Look, I'm not anti-police. Only a fool would think that society could
get by without them. At the same time, all of us should have to live by
the laws, including the police. Police are normal people and sometimes
break the law like anybody else, and when they do they should be
punished like anybody else.

Good, I am glad you're not anti-police, because that would be stupid.
I agree, police should be processed like anyone else, and I do
understand the irony of a police officer being a criminal. I just am
sick... really sick of police being labeled, when they have a tough
job, a tough schedule, a stressful job with a lot of personal liability
for them and their families.

No one likes photographers but everyone reads the news and looks at all
the photos!
