What is the command to change the Telnet port from 23 to another port number
of my choosing for a 3745 and 1760 router. I would also like to do this with
a 3550 and a 4503 Catalyst switch. Our ISP blocks all the common ports and I
want to configure our Linksys Router for port forwarding to some Cisco
equipment we have. I know how to do the port forwarding on the Linksys. I
need the command(s) to change the Telnet port on the Cisco routers &
switches.

Thank you,

John

have you tried the command

telnet x.x.x.x 35 (the port # 35 can be changed to your liking)
