Outlook Express Spam... what happened?

I'm running OE and PC-Cillan 12 Anti-virus/anti-spam.

When I first started using it on my new computer (about 2 weeks ago) it
would delete spam mail in the spam folder when I clicked "Delete." Now
something happened and when I click "Delete" in the spam mail folder it goes
into Deleted Items, causing me to go in there and delete them as well. I
must have messed up a setting but I checked everywhere and can't find
anything to adjust it back.

Please help!

Yeah, that's where they should go is to the Deleted Items folder, giving
you one last chance to recover a deleted email.

If you delete the email from the Deleted Item folder, then it's deleted
permanently from the computer.

Your best solution is a email filtering program and use it to
filter/delete emails right at the ISP's POP3 server. You filter/delete
them there and they never reach your computer where OE and PC-Cillan
have to deal with it.
