hi ,
i've an amd 3400+ with a 6800 gpu on a msi neo 2 platinum.i wa
using 512 mb ddr ram for a while and got a new 1gb chip .both the chip
are hynix and 400 mhz clock.when i combine the 2 chips ,it seems t
consider the fsb as 333 mhz ! is this supposed to happen ?
and the gaming performance barely changes when i use both chips .s
finally ,is there any way to make the fsb to 400 mhz ? shud i use th
1gb chip alone and get rid of the 512 chip ? or shud i combine the 2
thanx

That is actually a limitation on AMD's side when two RAM chips are combined.
the next spec feature from AMD is supposed to correct that issue.

Check your m/b manual, when over a certain amount of ram, the speed drops to
333.
