The Win98 computers get into XP just fine.

XP can connect to Apache on one of the 98's.

XP can also get ICS from a 98.

But XP can't access any shared folders Win98. This used to work, then
one day it stopped.

It asks for a password, but then act as if the password was invalid and
ask again.

I read that the user may have to be the same on all computers, and they
are. So that's not it.

When I try to access "folder1" on computer 2, the username in the
user/pass box is grayed out with "Folder1/Guest". I don't know if the
Guest part is doing it or what.

I even tried the Network Setup Wizard in XP and used the file on a
floppy it gave me to put on a Win98, and still nothing.

I should also note that after many attempts at entering the password,
sometimes it allows access.
