Windows in Toolbar

Running XP Home SP2 and after I open 3 windows they all disappear and stack
vertically. How do I set them so that even if I ahv e15 windows open thsy
are lal arranged horizontally in y tool bar (between the Quick Launch and
sytray) regardless of how samll each windoe will be? TIA
