could somebody remind me how to make your PC ignore a floppy disk left
in it on start up. I had this before with previous system with XP Pro
installed but now have new system with XP Home and can't remember how
I achieved this before. Maybe it can't be done with XP Home??

It's a BIOS setting, go into Setup during boot and select the boot
device priority.
