Sony DVD player screensaver?

Bought Sony DVD player (model DVD-LS785V) less than 1 year ago, very
good player.

Wondered if, when you play audio CDs for instance, you can have a
screensaver displayed on the TV? atm, I always see the fixed "splash
display screen", which just says something like "Sony DVD player". I
would like to turn this off, and either have a blank screen (to save
the screen), or maybe something moving about, like PC-style. (Blank
screen would be fine tho.)

Unfortunately, I can't RTFM cos I've misplaced it.

Any thoughts?

Solved. Found the screensaver option - it's just On or Off, but you
can change the TV background colour to black, which is good enough.

There is no reason to have the TV on in the first place for audio CDs.

My external speakers are connected directly into the back of it.
