suggestions on dvd player or comments of yamaha DVD-S659 needed

I'm looking at buying a new dvd player that has no problem playing up
to 16x DVD-/+R discs. From what I've read the best, most recently
priced player, in terms of options, is the Yamaha DVD-S659. Does
anyone have any suggestions of devices or any comments regarding this
model Yamaha?
