Is it possible to use my digital camera as a web camera when using
Skype? I was told this was possible but haven't been able to do this. Thanks t8769 |

Are you asking if you can connect a digital camera to your computer? If so, then your digital camera needs to have a video output of some kind that will connect to an interface on your computer that uses the same format as the cameras output. |

Hmm maybe that's just to complicated for me.. its just an ordinary
digital camera, nothing fancy.. |

If you connect to the computer using a USB lead then the camera normally appears as an extra drive. Can you use the setup on the camera to make it a 'camera' instead? If there is such a setting then plug it into the computer and see what happens Mark BR |

I suggest you ask the smartarse who told you it could be done to do it for you or provide a bit more information such as the camera make & model for a start and what you have tried so far. |
