hi there, i am busy coding a fix for Santa's package labelling system.

i have come across some wierd behaviour with enableViewStateMac on this
server.

this web has a page a.aspx with a textbox and a submit button webform
controls, and a page b.aspx displaying the contents of the textbox from
a.aspx.

the server.transfer method is being used to navigate from a.aspx to
b.aspx when submit is pressed

in a.aspx i found the property enableViewStateMac = false

this allows b.aspx to display the textbox from the viewstate from
a.aspx

when i changed enableViewStateMac to true and execute a.aspx, b.aspx
can STILL view the textbox value from a.aspx!! shouldnt true
disallow any other page from reading a.aspx viewstate?

is there something i have overlooked or do i need to download a service
pack? thx
