I have the following on a configuration:

mmi polling-interval 60
no mmi auto-configure
no mmi pvc
mmi snmp-timeout 180

I was unable to find the mmi command on the univercd on Cisco.com Can
somebody give me a short description as to what each of these commands
do?

Use Cisco's website to find explanation for commands. Googling on
www.cisco.com for "configuring mmi" easily yields e.g.
