I just wrote the 70-292 and passed with a pretty good margin. A lot
of the questions I saw dealt with group policy - some rather obscure questions dealing with very specific goals. The DNS questions were easy enough since it is a critical componant of active directory. How to delegate - when to delegate and obviously some replication. There was maybe 1 question concerning physical disks however there were a suprising amount of security (MBSA) questions and a few simulations. Alot of the questions that I saw had 5 answers that 3 of them were completely unrelated. On a couple towards the end I had marked for review I ended up just picking one randomly... not a recommended strategy but I guess it worked. Be SURE to know WHEN and WHY to use group memberships and when and why to apply group policy to what. If you are not solid in this you will definately screw yourself out of a good score. For study materials I used the Microsoft Training Kit for the 70-292 and 70-296 as well as used some Transcenders. Transcenders are great as they typically go above and beyond the knowledge that is on the test and they drill down to illustrate the concepts behind the questioning. Going back into the book to write the 296 which is supposed to be considerably more difficult. Hope this helps Booyakasha malthus289@gmail.com |

I just love how people use this ng for their personal blogs.
Clue for ya Booyakasha (1st one is free): Many of the domain registry sites provide a way for people to start up their own websites...for free even...it's an amazing concept... sure, you've gotta use their name, but it's free. Thanks for the helpful tip though, because 95% of the people that read these posts haven't heard any of that before...even though many of us have been here for over a year. -- BD MCNGP# 0011 ^ 2 <> wrote in message news: oups.com... >I just wrote the 70-292 and passed with a pretty good margin. Please don't call me bro. I'm not related to you and you're not MCNGP.
Basically, you're just not bro-able. M'Kay...Thanks -- BD # 0011 ^ 2 "OTHMAN" <> wrote in message news:C530B0DA-3C56-46DE-8E6D-... >> Dumbfounded again? > > lol. > I have nothing to say, bro BD[MCNGP] |
