Hi
There are few more types of WPA and the person who gave you the key should tell you what exactly he/she are using. Jack (MVP-Networking). Hi
WPA-AES is current top solution for Wireless security. Many Wireless Routers do not have the capacity for WPA-AES. In addition the Belkin N1 is 802.11n draft, these card is not compliant with a strict standard and meant to work as a match with Belkin's 802.11n draft Wireless Router. It suppose to be compatible with 802.11g but not being capable for WPA-PSK means that its computability with 802.11g is not 100%. I am afraid that you would need to buy a new 802.11b/g card. On the bright side, while your card is rather expensive, a regular 801.11b/g can be found for much less than the N1 cost. Jack (MVP-Networking).
