Hi

This newsgroup is dedicated to Wireless.

Are you connected using Wireless?

If yes, please describe the technical aspects of your connection.

Putting aside the Word issue, do you have a solid connection to the Internet
through your Wireless when using I.E for regular surfing and downloading?

Might be that your Internet connection in order to start needs an
Authentication agent (ID & PW) which is not provided by Word.

I am connecting through wireless. I have no problem connecting with Firefox.
I usually have no problem connectiing with IE either. This started after I
installed Office 2007 trial. Word won't recognize a connection until a
browser is started. Yesterday was the first time I had the problem with IE.

Technical aspects, I connect through an Intel Pro wireless 2200 card. My
connection is strong and works fine through Firefox. All the programs I use
that update automatically (anti-virus, spam blocker, anti-spyware) have no
problem.

When I tried to send the first reply, I got a working off line dialogue. When
I clicked try again it posted the reply.
