Go to control panel | Network Connections | Check the High Speed or LAN
section to see if your Network Interface Card (NIC) or device is enabled or
not. Select the NIC and right click on it then properties. On the properties
page for the NIC check if "Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) is in the "This
connection uses the following items" section. If not click Install and
select Protocol TCP/IP.
