Default Unale to use secured WFI

I have a laptop that I am unable to access any websites when in the secure
(WPA-PSK) mode but using my WI-FI in an unsecured mode I can access the web.
I have duplicated this same condition at my friends house using his WI-Fi
setup.
I am using Windows XP home addition OS on my HP Pavilion ze2309nr computer.

Any suggestions?

Hi

To be able to connect with Wireless in WPA-PSK mode both the Laptop and the
Wireless Cable/DSL Router have to be configured with to WPA-PSK, and using
the exact, same passphrase, or and, Encryption Key. Consult you Wireless
Router manual for instructions.
