i am on a wireless connection i guess like a wifi and when connected i am
only downloading at a rate of 60k . is there something i can do to speed this up or optimize my settings =?Utf-8?B?a2VnbWFu?= |

Hi
You can optimize your TCP/IP. However if you Wireless connection is very weak it would not help much. Optimizing the TCP/IP Stack - http://www.ezlan.net/Internet_Speed.html Jack (MVP-Networking). I've found that you can't trust utilities that try to optimize TCP/IP. My Verizion 768K DSL runs at half speed. I've tried several diagnostic utilities. They all run their tests and tell me that MAXMTU should be 1500. Manually run fragmentation tests show the same result. But if I manually set MAXMTU to 1000, my download speed goes up to ~700Kbps.
