has anyone had this problem: when i try to add my main pc's lexmark x125
printer to my wireless connected laptop it says it can't find the correct drivers. when i called lexmark tech they told me to install the printer directly on the laptop and than add it to the laptop as a shared printer. this worked to the point that it found the drivers (obviously) and set the lexmark as a shared printer. now i had 2 versions of the printer in my printers & faxes list. one showed as a local and the other showed as the main pc's printer (so far so good), but when i try to print using the main pc's printer it takes down the printer subspooler system. i can attach the laptop to the printers usb and print using the local printer verion just fine but when i reattach the printer to the main pc and try to access it through the icon of the main pc's lexmark, down goes the print spooler. if i then delete the local printerk, any attempt to printer using the shared printer aborts the spooler. summary: this printer works fine on both machines as a local printer, but when used as a wireless remote is aborts the spooler - if i delete the local printer from the laptop is deletes everything including the print drivers and i'm back a square one. anyone ? -- genem =?Utf-8?B?Z2VuZQ==?= |

This may be the same problem I'm having with my Lexmark X83. I have a laptop
shared with the main computer with a wireless setup, but when I try and print from the laptop, nothing happens, even though the main computer shows the popup screen that the document is printing. Unfortunately, I've found no solution for this problem either.
