Hi,
Our organization have 2 SSID. One call StaffW and one called StudentW. The StaffW is broadcast with 802.1x authentication setup. The StudentW is non broadcast with no security (WEP disabled). In the preferred wireless list in the WZC, the StaffW ssid is on the top priority (It applies to all profiles), followed by the StudentW ssid. As the certificate is install on the "staff" windows login profile only, so when i login as "staff", the WZC will use the certificate and connect to StaffW as it is top priority. Then I logoff and connect as "student" windows login profile, the WZC will disconnect from the StaffW (since it got no certificate), and ***after a while*** connect to the StudentW. Then I logoff the "student" windows login profile and relogin to the "staff" windows login profile, the problem is that it does not look at the PREFERRED WIRELESS LIST in the WZC anymore and remains connected to the unsecured StudentW. Sometimes rebooting the computer does not help. 2 questions:- 1. Can we get the WZC to re-evaluate the PREFERRED WIRELESS LIST at every login? If that is default, there must be something not right in the system, and how can we solve it? 2. Can we have a shorter time to check the status of the wireless ?(stated above with the ***After a while***) Thanks a lot for your kind feedback. =?Utf-8?B?QWRyaWFu?= |
