Default Need help please.... How can I make my D:\ accessible?

Hi,

How can I make my D:\ accessible? I am trying to install the Norton
Antivirus and it says D:\ is not accessible. The request could not be
performed because of an I/O device error...

I did put in the disc into the different computer and it works fine, just
not on the other computer...

What do I need to do to fix this?

If your installation has actually started, which I presume it has then are
you attempting to install the application onto your CD drive? If this is not
the case then can you be more specific regarding your exact actions and
responses?

Good luck, Phil

It appears to me that what Canasta is saying is that his CD-ROM drive
is not being able to read from the CD. Therefore the installation
cannot start. Since other computers can read the CD, the problem must
be with the CD drive.

Canasta, I think your CD drive might need to be cleaned, probably some
dust settled on the read head.
