Hi all,
I'm studying for 70-270, but I can't find anywhere how many questions there are in the exam. I've probably missed it in an obvious place, but can anyone tell me please? Thanks, Steve Maincat |

Hi Steve,
There are three questions on that exam. Make sure you know your favorite colour and the average flight speed of an unladen swallow (European in most cases but know African too). That's BS - I know there's at least 4 questions about elephants.
Had your fun now? Probably not. I didn't know it's a secret! I asked the question honestly - CompTIA let you know how many questions, why don't MS? Hi Steve,
Thank you for understanding. Actually we are not allowed to tell you the number, and frankly it is not always the same. Here is a good guideline though: All Microsoft exams (with the exception of design exams) consist of between forty and sixty questions, a combination of multiple-choice and a few simulation. Depending on the exam you will have between two and four hours to write it but in my experience you will always have enough time. If English is not your first language then when you register you can ask for an extension and you will usually get 30 minutes. For the record I do not see why it should be secret but I have recently been reminded by a Microsoft employee that any information on a cert exam is covered under NDA, including the number of questions. Good luck! M -- MDG, MCT MCSA (2003), MCSA (2000), MCDST.
