MCSD vs MCTS

hi,
I am considering taking up MS certifications. Please help me with whether I
should give MCSD (.Net 1.1 ) or MCTS (.Net 2.0). Which would be more
beneficial? are there enough resources and papers for MCTS? Where can I find
them?

Will MCSD become invalid as MCTS is the latest one.
