Wireless- Network did not assign an IP address

Hey Everyone!
Here is my first post.

On my home network consisting of 4 computers, two being laptops. One of the laptops is always having an issue connecting to the wireless point. It is a Dell Latitude D520. I have updated the network controller, wireless card drivers. Usually power cycling the router fixes the problem, but not this time. Both laptops are in the same room and only maybe a few inches apart from one another and the signal is excellent. I am running winxp home.
I would appreciate any help.
