Wireless Networking - Firewalled!

Default Firewalled!

I have a motorolla modem, a d-link router, and a toshiba laptop. I just
installed the router and when I am in in "Wireless Network Connection" it
shows that I have full bars, and my router is acknowledged but I can't go
online. In my "Network Connections" it says "Not Connected. Firewalled."
How do I set the firewall so that this doesn't happen and I can connect?
Thanks.

Hi
You have to put the range of the IP used in the Firewalls trusted zone to
allow communication internally. http://www.ezlan.net/faq#trusted

I've found both my internal and external IP's but I can't seem to find where
to put them. I'm on Windows XP.

Thanks

Hi
You probably need to read the Firewall manual.

It's possible that your firewall is blocking all Internet access as Jack
suggests, but the symptoms you describe are more typical of a setup problem
with the router. Your computer is communicating to the router, but the
router may not be connecting to the Internet through the cable modem. As
a first step, you should log into the router and check the WAN connection
status. If not connected it may be that it is necessary to clone the MAC
address of your PC to the router (as required for some cable connections).
If it is connected, then look toward firewall or other issues on your PC.
